Our Story:
H. Clay Phillips was a family business specializing in schools and large scale construction projects. In 1963, Mr.
Phillips partnered with Mr. CC Burris, Jr. to form a new company to cater to the increasing market for new homes, renovations,
and light commercial construction. The business flourished, and in 1972 Mr. Phillips retired. Mr. Burris purchased Phillips
Home Builders and operated the company as a family business, with a focus on honesty and quality construction. When Mr. Burris
retired in 1993, his son Danny formed PHB, Inc., based on the same values and promises.
